Welcome! I’m Harmony Harkema, owner of The Stitch Studio and homeschooling mom of two girls. I’m a Michigan native who recently moved back to the Grand Rapids area after several years in Memphis, TN. I believe that creativity and working with our hands matters in so many ways, contributing to brain development, neurological and emotional health, confidence-building, and a sense of community when we create together. It’s been a dream of mine to teach the timeless handicraft skills of sewing, knitting, and needlework to my two daughters and others, kids and adults alike, who want to learn. I hope you’ll join me!
